Gobbolino was turfed out as he was too cute and too sweet to be a tough witch's cat. Poor Gobbolino had lots of adventures before he finally found a warm heart and hearth. There is more to the story of my favourite book. However, this painting means more to me as I have tried to depict a pleading and softness in the look and the eyes.
