Tower of the Grove

"Tower of the Grove" is a section of the amazing ruin of Duckett's Grove, Carlow. This awesome structure lies just a 5 minute drive from my house in Carlow and I am lucky to be able to view it many times. Painted in Oil on Canvas measuring 40 x 60 cms and 4 cms deep. Framed in limed white wood contempory frame.

Oil & Mixed Media on board. There is a beautiful glen in Altamont Gardens in Co., Carlow. I go there regularly and this area down low in the glen is one of my favourite spots. Just love the cast shadows and strong light creeping through the trees above in what would otherwise be a dark and mysterious cave. There are some fascinating large boulders and more paintings in my head from this lovely place.
